Welcome to another edition of Live Love Las Cruces—this week music fans will the beautiful fall weather at 23rd Annual Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Festival at the Mesilla Plaza.

Mesilla Valley Jazz & Blues Festival

Is this coming weekend at Plaza de Mesilla to celebrate jazz and blues music. Three days of live music, good vibes, and community in the heart of Mesilla. Bring your lawn chairs and join the groove—this is the can't-miss event of October!

Plus a special performance Saturday will also be held at the NMSU Atkinson Recital Hall. More info

Curators of the Lost Art Scavenger Hunt

Curators of the Lost Art is a self-paced public art scavenger hunt in Las Cruces that features 18 public artworks. Each piece has a QR code offering an audio story and a clue. Participants listen to the stories, match the clues to the artworks using an online form, and those who answer everything correctly earn a prize plus entry into a raffle. Lush & Lean Workshops

Green thumbs anyone? The City of Las Cruces’ Lush & Lean fall workshops are starting up again this month starting on October 09th and running through the end of the month. Check out the workshops here.

The BLM has released their upcoming fall hikes, bikes, pop-ups, and patio chats for October. So many fun outdoor activities to enjoy this fall.

New Mexico Veterans: Enjoy Lifetime State Park Access. Great news for New Mexico veterans! As of July 1, 2025, a new lifetime pass will provide free day-use and camping access at all New Mexico State Parks.
