Free Access to NM State Parks

From October 1 to April 30, state park day-use fees are waived for New Mexico residents at nearly all parks; just bring a New Mexico ID or arrive in a vehicle with NM plates, noting that special parks like Living Desert Zoo & Gardens and parking at Rio Grande Nature Center aren’t covered by the waiver.
