Hello Las Cruces Music Fans

Hey {{First Name}} The beat goes on in the Land of Enchantment—welcome to another edition of Las Cruces' top live music discoveries.

Who would have thought that there was so much live music in Las Cruces? I mean this ain’t Nashville TN or Austin TX right!

I started publishing the Live Love Las Cruces local events newsletter in April of 2024. And as part of the local events I would add live music.

The more I looked the more I found, so much in fact that I was reaching my limit for the local events emails. So to solve this I pulled the Live Music into it’s own weekly email on Thursdays.

Not only do our subscribers love it but the local venues and musicians do to! Thanks for all the positive feedback! We love supporting the music scene and hope you are enjoying it also.

You know when you are thinking of going out and want ideas just check out our latest emails or just visit our website anytime for ideas. Installing our mobile app will also help.

Nestled in the heart of historic Mesilla, Madelyn’s has quickly become a beloved gathering place for locals and visitors alike.

Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Robert May and Irma Chavez-May, the restaurant reflects a deep family heritage and a passion for great food, live music, and community connection.

Irma’s roots in Mesilla run deep. Her grandfather, Isaac Chavez, was born in the area in 1901 and served as an usher at San Albino Church for over 40 years. Their ties to Mesilla go back generations. 

Named in honor of their only granddaughter, Madelyn, the restaurant represents both tradition and renewal.
